Medical Clearance

The objectives of medical clearance are to provide safe, healthy travel and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Air Mediterranean passengers (including children and infants) wishing to travel but their fitness is in doubt as evidenced by injury, hospitalization, instability or recent illness will be required to submit a Medical Form completed by their treating doctor at least 72 hours prior to departure.

Air Mediterranean will forward the completed Medical Form to company’s appointed doctor and will require medical clearance. Air Mediterranean appointed doctor is the one, who will give the final approval to Air Mediterranean, for passenger to be accepted for travel or denied.

In the absence of receipt of this form, Air Mediterranean will not be able to accept the passenger for travel on their booked flight.

Please note that stretcher and/or incubator cases are strictly not accepted on any Air Mediterranean flight.

Medical equipment

For safety reasons, you may need to obtain our approval if you need to use electrical/electronic medical equipment on board. This is to ensure that the equipment does not interfere with the aircraft navigation and communication systems.

Please inform us at the time of booking if you are travelling with any medical equipment in order to avoid any inconvenience.

For more information, please contact Air Mediterranean Customer Service Department.
